植物組織培養(yǎng)廣泛應用于轉基因研究、作物育種、觀賞花卉進出口、中藥材生產等領域,但組培過程中的種苗污染問題,尤其是真菌和內生菌的污染一直是廣大科研工作者所關心和頭疼的問題。西美杰代理的美國Plant Cell Technology(簡稱PCT)專門為植物組織培養(yǎng)而研發(fā)的專利產品——PPMTM,可有效抑制由于空氣、滅菌不徹底、交叉污染、外植體消毒等各種原因導致的細菌、真菌和農桿菌污染。PPMTM是一種熱穩(wěn)定的抗菌劑,在合理的使用劑量下,不會對植物生長產生任何影響。并能廣泛適用于絕大多數(shù)被子植物和裸子植物。
l PPMTM相對于傳統(tǒng)抗生素具有以下優(yōu)勢:
- PPMTM廣泛抑制和清除細菌和真菌的污染,并防止真菌孢子的萌發(fā)。
- PPMTM是通過抑制多種酶的活性而達到抑菌效果,從而能避免耐藥突變體的發(fā)生。
- PPMTM具有熱穩(wěn)定性,無需過濾滅菌,能直接加入培養(yǎng)基高溫滅菌而不會影響使用效果。
- PPMTM用量低,性價比高。
